Miniature Rose has the scientific name Miniature Rose, belonging to the Floribunda group. It is a low shrub, usually about 1 - 2m tall, with many small branches. The trunk and branches are thin and soft, with slightly curved spines.
The leaves are compound, small, oval, elongated and serrated around the edges, growing alternately on the branches. The leaves are dark green or light green depending on the color of the flower.
Flowers come in many different colors and grow at the tops of branches. The thin petals when blooming spread out in many colors depending on the color of the plant variety such as orange, red, pink, etc. The flowers usually grow singly or can also grow in clusters. The size of this type of flower is usually smaller than other types. roses have the same family name. Each flower will have many petals arranged in circles overlapping each other in layers embracing the stamens in the middle, blooming on the top of a long stem, surrounded by green sepals.
Currently, Vietnam is widely growing about 50 types of roses according to color, divided into groups:
- Red rose group: Velvet red, ruby red
- White rose group: Clear white, ivory white
- Pink pink group: Peach blossom color, kneeling red color
- Yellow rose group: Light yellow, orange yellow
- Lotus pink group: Lotus petal color, light pink
