Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan chaired the meeting on the preparation for organizing the 2025 Dat Sen Hong - Dong Thap Marathon

The 2025 Dat Sen Hong - Dong Thap Marathon, with the theme "Pioneering - Breaking Through," will take place over 03 days (from October 10 - 12, 2025) at Van Mieu Square, Dang Van Binh Street (Cao Lanh ward), under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, implemented by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Nexus Media Joint Stock Company.

According to the report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as of September 9, the number of athletes registered through the ticket portal was 6,810 athletes, from 32 provinces and cities nationwide and 10 countries: Sweden, Singapore, France, Philippines, Germany, USA, India, Germany, etc. This year's Marathon continues to attract athletes who are officials, civil servants, public employees, and students in the province to participate.

Currently, the Organizing Committee has closely coordinated with Nexus Media Joint Stock Company to survey and develop the race route, locations for music and culinary events; coordinated the deployment of referees to officiate the race; developed a separate brand identity for the race; updated the official fanpage and registration website with information, images, videos related to the event, etc.

To ensure the successful organization of the 2025 Dat Sen Hong - Dong Thap Marathon, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant units to promote communication about the significance of the race to the public; focus on ensuring food safety and hygiene, traffic safety, environmental hygiene, and a clean and beautiful city landscape during the organization of the race; enhance the introduction and promotion of local specialty products; ensure first aid, emergency care, vehicles, and personnel to promptly handle situations in case of incidents.
